Why use a travel Agent?

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

I was recently asked if I thought Travel Agents were a thing of the past. I replied that for the person wanting to go see Grandma and only needed a car and air ticket a travel agent wasn’t really needed. My specialty in Denver is honeymoons and romantic travel. Who wants to mess up the most important trip of their life? I spent over $8000 traveling last year to Tahiti and Fiji looking for great places for my clients to honeymoon. Does an online booking engine offer you first hand experience like that?

I believe that if people want customer service and travel knowledge for a specific destination then an experience accredited travel agent is the way to go. I am a Caribbean, Tahiti and now a Fiji specialists. Ask me when you want to travel to those destinations for the best deals on the best places. I’ve been there so I know the great ground operators (very important in destinations like this and Costa Rica) and what each resort has to offer. I try to match my clients to their budgets and wants to make their honeymoon the best memory of their life!
